Fantasia Announces: “This Is My Last Tour”

Published: Saturday 16th Nov 2019 by Sam

Fantasia fans without tickets to her ‘Sketchbook Tour’ may want to hurry, because the R&B star has revealed that the trek will be her last.

Full story below…

During a candid Q&A with fans, the vocal supernova shared that the US jaunt – which features Robin Thicke, Tank, and The Bonfyre, would be her penultimate tour.

Watch her explain why…

Interesting.

So, while her touring will seemingly cease, she’ll continue with her spot-date game (which has been very much in motion over the years – even when out of an album cycle).

We’re in changing times, as such acts are tasked with cultivating setups that work for their careers in the long-run. And Ms. Barrino appeared to have found hers.

I’m so sick of these artists shenanigans. Stop the lying for attention. Just go away.

If you watched the video she said she’s going to do shows just need a full tour. A lot of artists do those. & If you’ve ever been to a Fantasia concert, she gives 120% every night so it does take a toll on a person.

If I performed like this woman, I think I would limit myself to only a couple of shows a year. She really is phenomenal. I remember seeing Tina Turner in the 80’s she had nothing on Tasia.

sadly this is the toll of being independent. putting together tours cost money. road managers cost money.

fannie learned the hard way that she needs a major label’s support. she should just sign a lucrative 360 deal

she is a touring machine that brings in sales so she’ll have leverage there.

360 and lucrative don’t go together. 360 makes the label money. Not the artist. Thats why artist choose to go indie rather than sign a 360

She don’t wanna pay the cost of a tour!!

Hopes she does some acting or get into producing events or media. She’s been around awhile I pretty sure she can invest a few coins to keep her busy.

That’s what she wants to do too, acting, probably plays also. Artists need to take a break, let their voice rest.

Financially, it makes sense for an independent artist like Fantasia to avoid headlining tours. The costs are ridiculous and the net profits may not be worth it. Brandy is also on eOne with Fantasia, and she makes a nice chunk of money doing spot dates year round.

Fantasia isn’t on Eone. She has her own label through BMG.

i hate this cause Fantasia is a beast on tour

    • Jcunnin56 November 18, 2019

She’s been singing constantly for 16 years, it can take a toll on your voice. People think her finances are at risk, I doubt it, that’s why she went independent, also her merchandises are selling out as well. She need to release a live album too. She’ll be fine

I’m not mad at her!! You do what you have to do!!! I already have my ticket to see her in Sugarland, Texas on November 27. I love Fantasia I purchased the meet n greet package, can’t wait. Fantasia is very spiritual, inspiring and a powerful vocalist.

Fantasia’s current SKETCHBOOK tour is very successful, and there have been sold out dates.

  10. Dsbra November 16, 2019

Sorry to hear that. Fantasia is a favorite. Many say no more buf if they’re not financially set for life and not just for right now, they tend to have to do more dates or supplement in other ways. You can always write a book. Everybody is doing it.

I going to miss her, I meet her in Philadelphia and we talk about me. She sang a song to me and I just want to tell her that my surgery went well. I Love you and keep the love song coming.

Fantasia is a vet whose always performing. I’m not knocking her decision to no longer do headlining tours. You have to do what’s best for you. And by the way: due to demand, she added more shows to her current tour.
